Speaking The Language Of Art
???????????????????????????????

“Creativity is intelligence having fun.” – Albert Einstein

Twenty years ago, I started my journey in the art world. I come from an extensive family of artists of sorts from acrylic painting to ceramics. There isn’t a whole lot of writer’s in the family, though I learned at a very young age my desire to write. I still find myself rusty in this area, but I am willing to prosper in my passion to write.  As the years went on I grew a liking for many mediums in the art world though  my journey has been a rocky one.  Just like anyone, I have had to overcome many life’s struggles and tribulations. It hasn’t been easy but I keep searching for my niche in life. I have used art as a means to tell my story and what it was like living my path.

“I want freedom for the full expression of my personality.” Mahatma Ghandi once said. This stays true to the arts. There is something invigorating to be able to put emotion into one thing, that it can affect the emotions of the viewers. Whether it is with a few quick strokes of a paint brush or the click of a camera it all is the expression of someone that needs that little escape from reality, that little thing to help guide them through whatever may appear.

Art is the greatest way, in my opinion, to escape all the horrible things that are in one’s life. It is the escape that every person needs in their life. Even if that person isn’t the best artist that ever lived, there is no harm in trying. Just singing a little song to yourself, or sketching, can make you feel just a little bit happier.

I enjoy creating and entering the vast world of possibilities and when I enter my artistic voyage it’s nothing like no other.

My education with art is minimal. I do have a degree in Graphic Design; I currently do not work in the area but use it as a tool for my creative process. Currently, I take art, photography and writing classes in the Seattle, WA area. For now, my passion for creativity is an outlet, a tool and a means to continue my growth, and to heal from my past struggles. My goal is to publish a book someday. As it sits right now, I have had a few of my art pieces displayed in art galleries around Seattle. This includes photography, acrylic painting, sumi painting and various writing events, such as poetry slams.

“I use photography as a means of self-expression – I make pictures for myself, to identify with hidden qualities of my character, to better understand my reality, and to express my interpretation of the world around me. A clearer understanding of myself and of my world allows me to explore fragments of life as an abstract form, and also to interact with people I would otherwise not be able to engage with. My goal is to use my camera like Alice’s rabbit hole, to open an unexplored world, a place of curious self-expression, but also a world of new relationships, new chances new beginnings and most importantly new stories.”

In my writings, I tell my story to inspire others, and in the process it helps me heal.

My goal on this website is to share my work, but my main goal is to share and educate about others artist’s throughout the world. For now, this site is more about self-expressing rather than a market tool, this is all in fun and a side hobby of mine. Later down the road with more experience I would like to eventually to do something more. I do hope you enjoy this exciting moment for me to share with you my creative talents.
